Delicious recipe for pancakes with cane honey:


1 cup of wheat flour

2 tablespoons of sugar

1 tablespoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 egg

1 cup of milk

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Butter to grease the pan

Cane honey to serve


In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.

In another bowl, beat the egg and then add the milk, vegetable oil and vanilla extract. Mix well.

Pour the liquid mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients and stir until the dough is smooth. Do not overmix; some small bumps in the dough are fine.

Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat and grease it with a little butter.

Pour a ladleful of batter into the hot pan to make a pancake. Cook until bubbles appear on the surface and the edges look golden brown.

Flip the pancake and cook the other side until golden brown.

Repeat the process with the rest of the batter to make more pancakes.

Serve the pancakes hot and add cane honey on top as a substitute for maple syrup or any other topping of your choice.
