VOLUNTEERING IN TUQTUQUILAL
Joining our volunteer program at Tuqtuquilal will provide you with the opportunity to get to know and connect with this small paradise nestled amidst rivers and mountains in Lanquín, and with the people who call it home. You'll have the chance to immerse yourself in direct experiences with nature by participating in various daily tasks within the project, sharing in the artisanal production processes of cacao, turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, and other local spices, getting involved in vegetarian/vegan culinary preparations, exploring community-based tourism alternatives, and taking part in our permaculture activities on the farm.
THE VOLUNTEERING PROGRAM
The volunteer program involves a work exchange (6 hours a day, 5 days a week, with a minimum commitment of 15 days) in exchange for accommodation and two meals on workdays, as well as the opportunity to connect with all the knowledge, wisdom, and experiences cultivated in this environment. We do not have strict or set schedules during the volunteer program, as our daily activities are dependent on crop harvesting seasons, peak demand periods, the agricultural calendar, space requirements, and other factors.
